About Maryann Destefano

As the Sr. Manager of Membership Sales my focus was to market Philadelphia as a global destination through relationships and partnerships with all segments of the hospitality industry. I've also worked on many special events such as the Army/Navy Game, World Meeting of Families and Pope Francis Visit, the DNC, and the NFL Draft which helped to put Philadelphia on the global stage. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES • Worked with the VP of Membership, Membership Services Manager, & Membership Coordinator to implement PHLCVB sales and retention plan. • Was Responsible for generating revenue through new membership sales, Coordinates prospective visits/ new member sales calls (where applicable) with Publication and Advertising vendors regarding advertising opportunities. • Implemented new member orientation including e-mails, calls, visits, fulfillment, publication & database information and renewals. • Responded to all prospective members requests. • Processed new member applications, assigned membership terms and account information, collected publication and listing information (online and print). • Assisted in Membership Service Visits. • Assisted in maintenance of database. • Coordinated prospective member event initiatives. • Assisted with all membership events & meetings, and other special events such as Annual Luncheon and Army/Navy, Pope Francis visit, DNC and NFL Draft. • Responsible for preparing weekly & monthly revenue in, status reports to VP of Membership (sales calls or visits and sales leads generated). • Responsible for keeping track of in-house referrals & payments.
