About Maryclaire Manard

Experienced in the information services space, and passionate about informed and conscious consumerism — I’m combining professional expertise and personal interests through Cluey Consumer. Cluey’s mission is to enable consumers to achieve greater influence at the point of purchase by aligning their dollars with their values. Prior to my current venture, I worked for AlphaSights, a top corporate strategy and investment due diligence research firm. Led the firm’s West Coast strategy consulting practice, more than doubling revenue and headcount. I also served as a member of the AlphaSights' Women's Initiative Network and managed our West Coast programming. Before AlphaSights, I worked as a production journalist on CNN’s prime-time news teams. In addition to my work at CNN, I covered the midterm elections in 2014 as an independent reporter for GVH Live. Graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2013 with a degree in political science, managerial studies, and American history. Outside of the classroom, I was active in various leadership roles and elected Vanderbilt's Student Body President. Go ‘Dores!
