I am a researcher associate and a Co-I on the ESRS funded the project “Negotiating multilingualism in situations of conflict” at the University of York. My recent research focus is investigating language processing in Ukrainian-Russian bilinguals, in particular, whether lexical diversity and fluency in speech production of Ukrainians has shifted since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.Since January 2023, I was a visiting researcher at the University of York and was working on the project “Multilingualism in situations of conflict” supported by the British Academy.Key areas:Multilingualism • Language processing • Language attitudes • Language attrition • Language development in children • Second and third language acquisition • Ukrainian language support • History of the Ukrainian language • Ukrainian culture
