About Masatoshi Moue

I began my career at the Development Bank of Japan Inc. in 2012. I worked in the corporate finance department from 2012 to 2016 for mid- to large-cap companies at our headquarters and branch. While at the branch, I created a joint investment fund in collaboration with one of Japan's regional banks. Through this experience, I developed fundamental skills of the fund business. From 2016 to 2019, I was assigned to a large-scale internal system restructuring project with a budget exceeding 100 million dollars. As a member of the project team, I oversaw more than 100 stakeholders, including system engineers, project consultants, and internal system users, and enhanced project management skills to in achieving e goals with numerous stakeholders. From 2019 to 2021, I was seconded to our U.S-based subsidiary, DBJ Americas. There, I managed real estate, energy, and fund investment deals in the U.S. Working with U.S. companies, fund managers, and financial institutions, I acquired execution skills for international deals and deepened my understanding of the U.S. economy and financial market, which are dynamic and mature compared to Japan. From 2022 to 2023, I returned to Japan and joined the industrial coverage team specializing in the logistics industry. Faced with numerous challenges in the Japanese logistics industry, such as a shortage of truck drivers, I provided financial solutions and ideas to address these industrial issues. Currently, I worked in the Human Resources department, where I am responsible for upgrading the human resource development program and designing HR systems to enhance our company’s capabilities.
