About Masha Rector

I have been in the work force since I was fifteen. From retail to food service to factory and warehouse work to customer service to quality control/lab technician and finally to my current role as an R&D project manager and research analyst-I've dipped my toe into a lot of of pools! Even my degree covers multiple disciplines as it is literally an interdisciplinary "multiple discipline" degree. All this variation (first in my work life, then in my academic STEM life ) eventually led me to be interested and to pursue the field of data research. Figuring out how to collect, organize, interpret, report, and communicate data so it can be applied to solve real life problems and make real life decisions is what I've become enamored with. Most likely because I love to solve puzzles. Data are just the pieces to a large puzzle. There's no satisfaction like when I get to connect all the right pieces in all the right places to reveal the bigger picture and solve the puzzle. Solving puzzles and finding answers is what I personally love. Professionally, I'm the same way. Give me a puzzle, I'll solve it.Give me a code, I'll crack it. Give me a problem, I'll give you a solution. All I need is the data.
