Background

About Mason Chen

I am currently a Procurement Analyst at BakeMark, where I streamline sourcing processes, strengthen vendor relationships, and leverage data insights to drive efficient and cost-effective purchasing decisions. My previous experience as a chemical restocking assistant at UCSD’s Qualcomm Institute allowed me to optimize lab inventory systems and collaborate across teams to improve operational productivity. Alongside this, I’ve managed entrepreneurial projects in reselling and Web3 development, which strengthened my analytical, organizational, and business growth skills. Through academic projects, leadership roles in Alpha Phi Omega and TASA, and my Google Data Analytics training, I’ve developed expertise in data cleaning, visualization, dashboarding, and project management. Fluent in English and Mandarin, I bring both a global mindset and a strong technical foundation to solving supply chain challenges. I am passionate about bridging business strategy, data-driven insights, and sustainable solutions to create value across supply chain and procurement functions.
