About Mason Jones

My name is Mason Jones, and I am a junior at Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business majoring in Accountancy who is actively and quickly gaining strong abilities in learning accounting principles through applying them appropriately to real-life situations. I am also achieving valued traits and characteristics such as becoming an adaptive, well organized, tenacious individual who has a comprehensive background of consistently striving to accomplish high-quality work.Much of my work experience stems from retail, one of which at Lowe's Home Improvement as a customer service associate where I learned how to operate while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and keep a calm composure in tense situations with customers to find positive solutions. I quickly grasped a strong understanding of product placement from describing products to customers and accurately explained details and instructions while also cultivating and managing empathetic relationships with key clients, vendors and community partners. Earning a reputation for exceeding service standard goals.Recently I have joined multiple organizations, such as the Intercultural Business Student Association (IBSA) and Phi Chi Theta. While my role in these organizations is just starting, I plan to achieve a leadership position of some sort to further my experience in a business setting. So far I have been able to network and further my abilities of teamwork/ comradery.I am a professional who knows the value of hard work through my years of retail experience.
