Hello! My name is Mason Resh, and I am a Junior at Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business majoring in Finance and minoring in General Business. I recently transferred from Kalamazoo Valley College to Western Michigan University after completing my prerequisites. I’m aiming to graduate in the spring of 2021 to pursue my dream of a career in the financial world. I do have an immense passion for working with money and numbers. Right now, I have business experience in digital, local, and nationwide marketing, customer service and support, social networking, sales, social media marketing, eCommerce marketing, data entry, retail, and warehouse management, to name a few.In a very customer-based environment, you learn immediately that customers’ needs have to be meet with polite, professional, essential, superior customer service from the beginning, during, and even after the needs are met. During my time as the internet advertising administrator, taking pictures and writing the ads for units, there are a lot of customers who ask questions when trying to list a unit. There a number of instances when a customer asks questions about a unit that is at hand, and I have successfully answered the questions that relate to the unit that end up being sold to the customer who had the questions. With the determination and hard work, I am successfully able to produce a sale before the customer has to talk to a sales advisor has led to several compliments from those I work with.Being an internet advertising administrator requires a lot more that comes with the job than listing and writing ads for products. I keep track of all the price changes with new rebates that come out by manufacturer as well as keep track of all the units that come in and out of the dealership. One way that I keep track of all of this information is by using Excel and the company’s database to ensure that nothing is missed when changing prices and when units are delivered and sold. I was recognized by the president of Leaders Marine on my skills of using Excel and the database to their full potential to oversee everything that happens within the business at and on every given day that the company is open.
