About Mason Seigel

I'm a incoming fourth-year student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, majoring in marketing and minoring in sports management/marketing. I have a passion for leadership development, collaborating with others, and mentoring. I have demonstrated these strengths in multiple positions, beginning in high school, as a member of my high school baseball and basketball teams and while working for High School Heroes, Peer Teaching, Now & L8r, and Stand Up 9. All 4 organizations focused on teaching drug and alcohol safety. However, most importantly, I worked as a member of my high schools Student Council. In this student government role, I planned and organized school sponsored events including spirit weeks, homecoming, and prom. I promoted and advertised the core values of our school by working amongst the members of Student Council to act as the voice of our schools student body. Now, at Indiana University, I continue to seek new opportunities to expand my professional skills in the sports management/marketing field by being apart of clubs such as The Business World of Sports Club at IU. Having been accepted into The Kelley Sports Industry Workshop at IU for the 2025-2026 school year, I have taken an important step in broadening my understanding of my desired career. Through these engagements, I have stayed up to date on current developments in the sports world and have had the chance to network for possible job opportunities. In the future, I plan to grow my involvement in my career by continuing to develop my strengths of leadership development, collaborating with others, and mentoring. I am currently spending my junior year summer internship working for Excel Sports Agency in New York City. Excel Sports Agency is an industry-leading management and marketing agency that represents top-tier talent and blue-chip brands. During my internship I hope to work with well known brands to find ways to break into the sports sector. Ultimately, I see myself building strong client relationships in order to assemble their professional brands.
