About Matea Malbasic

My name is Matea Malbašić and I have recently completed my graduation internship at bol. I am currently in the final phase of completing my studies in Commercial Economics at Avans University of Applied Sciences in ’s-Hertogenbosch. During my studies, I have gained significant experience in the FMCG sector. For instance, I completed an internship at Spar Netherlands in the Category Management department, where I gained insight into optimizing product categories and analyzing consumer behavior. Additionally, I work as a team leader at Albert Heijn in Vught. This role has taught me a lot about leadership and team management, significantly enhancing my leadership skills. I also had the opportunity to participate in the Honours Impact Programme (HIP) at Avans, where I further developed my personal and professional skills. I have a strong interest in the FMCG industry and enjoy continuously challenging myself to grow. What sets me apart as an individual is my unique background. Being raised bilingually, I have a deep understanding of multiple cultures. This enables me to approach people and situations with an open mind and foster connections in diverse teams.
