About Mateescu Daria

I'm not your average candidate. My business cards say such things as account manager, media planner, communication specialist, talent scout, reporter, marketing assistant and trainee in compliance and acquisitions. But when you get right down to it, I'm much more — I’m a visionary, an entrepreneur, an event organizer, a writer, an art seeker, a psychology and technology passionate, a motivational speaker and some say I am an inspiration for youngsters, that being the reason why I was selected as the Ambassador for the Youth Structured Dialogue. I'm also a big believer in the power of people and branding. Each person has a purpose (or more) in life and he/ she just needs to discover it. I believe I am the person who can guide people to reach their highest potential, with the use of empathy, social psychology and persuasion. I believe that we, as humans, don't buy "stuff." We don't make decisions based on features and benefits. We make decisions based on emotion,"gut feeling" and brand promise. We buy when we are moved. We act when we are moved. And that is my purpose: to challenge people to “act”, whether that means to buy a product, an idea or a dream. In the past years, I took part in projects in ten countries and I also lived in two. Being surrounded by people of different cultures, perspectives and habits, helped me develop a new perspective regarding “what makes people act” and I managed to understand the fascinating differences that may actually bring people together. I am thrilled about the unknown and I challenge myself and others as much as I can. Message me if you ever want to talk careers, psychology, marketing or any other subject that matters.
