About Mateiu Catalin

Started out on a different path by attending a faculty with a completely opposite domain, that of Wood Engineering (design of advanced structures). After graduation, I wanted to blend both woodworking and IT into one, thus I started my first job working with CAD programs for 3D rendering of wooden structures. During this time, I was accepted in a handful of webinars for different aspects related to code (Java, Angular, C#, etc.) which strengthened my desire to apply for a job on one domain only. Not so long after that, I was accepted in the OKTA environment, which gave me the opportunity to learn about a great cloud security system and to develop my skills of: — Troubleshooting simple and complex issues, — Engaging with different people from all around the globe, — De-escalating hot situation, — Adaptive thinking and speaking to suit different situations, — And most importantly, expanding my overall knowledge about cybersecurity and identity access management. Time management is always a key aspect of every job, with which, I can proudly pat myself on the back for never being late without a reason and always providing solutions/projects/results on time. Working with different people at all times improved my patience and problem-solving skills, as each one of them required a different approach and a different subject to be addressed. Of course, there are always challenges to which I look forward to overcome and retain the knowledge/experience for further use when the time arises. Always eager to learn something new and expand my knowledge, thus I am currently looking for opportunities to develop my career further in Identity Management, or cybersecurity.
