About Mateus Adolfi

Passionate scientist and thirsty for new challenges in the area of research and scientific communication. Strong experience in leading complex projects within numerous interdisciplinary collaborations worldwide (approx. 15 countries). Planning and execution of experiments under very tight budget and time constraints with cooperative leadership, a very good trouble shooting as well as high solution-orientated advice experiences. Implementation and optimization of different biotechnology techniques methods, such as genome editing and transcriptome analyses. In addition to the laboratory experience, I extended my teaching skills as docent in biochemistry for medical students and the animal model courses for biomedicine, enhancing my active and cooperative communication abilities. At the same time, I could continue with high productivity in publications, not only as first but also as last author. I participated in courses of clinical research associate and to improve teaching and mentoring skills, in particular for managing all kinds of problems and to achieve a healthy and positive working environment.
