About Mateusz Labuda

I am a culture manager, fundraiser, expert in the transformation of cultural institutions, audience development and education. I completed an MBA course at the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology and graduated in Political Science, specializing in government and local government administration, from the Academy of International Relations and American Studies. Before that, I studied at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the University of Wrocław (1988–90) and the at the Faculty of Polish Studies and Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw (1990–93). Between 1991 and 2011 he worked as a musical manager and producer: I managed Maanam (1993–2007), co-managed Kamiling Co record company (1992–2010) and ran my own record company Cosmopolis (1998–2011). Between November 2011 to December 2018 at the National Museum in Warsaw in charge of the Museum’s development and reshaping its image, including in particular: fundraising, education, communication, marketing and extension of the NMW. January 2019 January 2021 Deputy Director at Museum of Warsaw in charge of communication, marketing, fundraising, education, publishing and organisation of exhibitions.
