About Math dela Torre

My first name is just Math and not Matthew. My parents are not mathematicians they just wanted me to have that short name. Since my name is Math, I took up education course major in Mathematics. With my perseverance and dedication, I was able to finish the course and passed the licensure examination for teachers. Yes I am an educator and do believe in the saying that "to teach is to touch lives forever". After two wonderful school years in teaching, I decided to shift my career. I joined the BPO industry. West Contact Services was the first company who gave me chance, knowledge and experience to be the best in call center industry. I stayed with them for more that five years. Because of my commitment with WCS, I got promoted as a Team Lead then a Supervisor. Due to health reason, I had to resigned from that company and rest for a while. In 2015, I joined VXI as a Customer Care Champion for a financial account. I handled financial inquiries thru calls from our clients. Our major responsibilities were, processing payment, charges explanation on their credit cards, reporting fraud transactions, etc. In VXI I was earning beyond my expectation that why when the account was pulled from the company, I felt that it was the end of my career as a call center representative but I had to move on and find a new path. Then I found Convergys who gave me a new home. With Convergys, I became a fraud specialist for a big credit card company in the US. When Convergys acquired by Concentrix, I became part of an E-Commerce industry. I handled retail service with Walmart.com. Our main responsibilities are: track orders, replacement, refund and more. I became part of the training department as a Program Ready Trainer. I also got an award Most Outstanding Employee of the year. Unfortunately pandemic hits the world I had to resigned and move back to our hometown. While waiting for an opportunity I put up a gardening business in the province. We sell ornamental plants and other merchandize. Now, I'm looking for work from home job like virtual assistance.
