About Mathabo Lutu

I am a Pharmaceutical Science PhD Candidate with Masters from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. I have three and a half years of experience in a research organization assisting during experimental tests, analyzing data and I have acquired an extensive background in academic writing. I also have experience in presentations from which I gained valuable, transferable skills such as communication, time management and prioritizing workload. I am seeking an opportunity to increase my skills and professional responsibilities. So far I have 2 publications as the main author under my name. Currently working towards obtaining a PhD which involves the synthesis of novel drugs as well as drug delivery targeting malaria. Furthermore, my study will also look at the potential for repurposing of these compounds toward cancer. I am is a fast learner and a hard worker. My research in pharmaceutical sciences is of great importance and I believe that it will add to the growing knowledge of novel drugs designed to halt the propagation of antimicrobial resistance. My background in biochemistry, microbiology in conjunction with pharmacology will broaden her scope as I builds my career in the pharmaceutical sciences and drug design.
