About Mathapelo Mariba

As a training consultant at the Centre for Statistical Analysis and Research (CESAR), I help businesses and organizations improve their employees' performance and productivity by preparing, evaluating, and executing relevant education programs. I identify skills and knowledge gaps and suggest effective courses offered by CESAR, such as data analysis, research methods, and statistical software. I also handle marketing, administration, and reporting tasks for the company.In addition to my work at CESAR, I am the founder and director of Village Girl Movement, a non-profit that focuses on the empowerment of disadvantaged girls in rural areas of South Africa. The initiative was established in 2021, and since then, I have been promoting and enhancing the livelihoods of young disadvantaged girls, by encouraging educational enrolment, improving their health through education and physical activity, building their self-esteem, and administering mentored activities and tasks. I am passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young girls and their communities and aligning my work with the Right to Education Act and the government's vision.I have a strong academic background in public health, with a bachelor's degree from Monash University, a postgraduate diploma from IIE MSA, and a master's degree in progress from the University of Johannesburg. I am a very analytical individual with excellent problem-solving skills, and I can offer my service as a healthcare administrator, assistant researcher, healthcare educator/promoter, or data analyst. I can work effectively with people at different levels of organizations/cultures. I value time and use it wisely, by keeping myself occupied with work that serves my workplace and the community.
