Exploring Teens is Australia's ONLY online directory for parents of adolescents. I am the founder and this is my passion. My employment history is however, far removed from online publishing having been a Chartered Accountant since 1990 and with my current employer Zurich, since 1992 (part time since The inspiration and drive for launching Exploring Teens has come from having teenage children and finding a complete lack of timely, relevant and reputable information. While I ceased publishing the magazine in May 2017, I still found that my need for a centralised resource of information, activities, products and services for parents of teens was unmet. This was my motivation for re-launching the Exploring Teens website in December 2017 as an online directory. Until both the magazine and now the online directory, businesses have not been able to make direct contact with this segment of the market and appreciate being aligned with a business like Exploring Teens that values quality. On the other side, our followers and subscribers want to know the resources available to them in order to help them, help their teen. Learning about new options, ideas, products and services via a directory is helpful to our readers.
