I'm currently working with high-volume wafer level testing of photonic devices and process integration. My PhD thesis was about nanomaterials produced by ion implantation for optoelectronic applications. I used mainly ion beam and optical techniques to characterize compound quantum dots for the next generation of silicon photonic devices. Additionally, I've worked for 7+ years as a Process Engineer in the semiconductor industry. I've worked with wafer testing (functional and PCM) and as a Lithography Process Engineer. My academic background is focused on the physics of semiconductor devices and CMOS fabrication processes. Some projects I've worked on include shallow junctions in silicon and SIMOX, irradiation of carbon nanotubes, electrical isolation in GaAs, and development of SiN thin films for non-volatile memory applications.
