I've always enjoyed building things. From legos and woodworking as a kid, to now designing and coding web applications. I see myself as a code craftsman, passionate about making products people love. I have always enjoyed the "little details"; The micro-interactions built into an application that makes for a memorable user experience. Every year the technology behind websites becomes easier to work with, more powerful, and includes more features. I am constantly trying to stay up to date with new web technologies like React and Universal Javascript. They enable me to build even greater interactivity into web applications. I currently work as a senior full-stack developer and designer; crafting thoughtful user interfaces and enabling them with extendable APIs. I've been in charge of design and standardization of company branding; to building dynamic and real time micro services that are the foundation of growth for a company- Fostered talent within the company and encouraged the growth of pet projects that became important intellectual properties- Owned major feature development in several products offering API integration services- Implemented continuous integration and deployment platforms using Shippable, TravisCI, CircleCI, and more- Maintained thorough documentation used by international teams across multiple active projects. Recent successes include streamlining a continuous-integration pipeline to reduce deployment times by 87%. Refactoring major features to improve API performance and cut package size in half. And launching an email security auditing system that reports on a domains DNS security and helps to generate leads for a sales team.
