Meldian Advisors offer business advisory services to energy companies and other corporates, private equity investors, lenders, and government agencies in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors. Our experience has encompassed all aspects of the energy chain from and including oil & gas exploration and production, refining, pipeline development, transportation, regulation, and power generation (from both conventional and renewable sources) and transmission. We can assist our clients worldwide, supported by an extensive network of relationships with other professionals, including lawyers, consulting engineers, contractors and service providers. Our Chief Consultant, Mathew Kidwell, is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in England & Wales, and continues to provide legal advice exclusively through the medium of partner law firms with whom he and/or Meldian Advisors have consultancy arrangements. Mr. Kidwell founded Meldian Advisors in 2018 in order to use his transactional experience drawn from his 30 year career in the law to provide business consultancy services. Mr. Kidwell has worked with leading international law firms in London, the Middle East and Brazil. He has counselled on project assignments in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, SE Asia, Latin America and Europe. He has been listed in a number of leading professional guides, including World’s Leading Energy Lawyers 2018, Who’s Who Legal: Energy, the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, and the International Who’s Who of Oil and Gas Lawyers. Mr. Kidwell is also a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and a Council member of the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion.
