About Mathew Loyd

I enjoy helping people. Whether through my work with Mentor Oregon assisting adults with developmental disabilities, co-teaching a community center preschool, or volunteering with teens, I experience fulfillment when I'm helping others reach their full potential. This - combined with my love of organization and stream-lined processes - led me to the Human Resources field. I've spent over 5 and a half years working in a small-but-mighty nonprofit HR department, building my HR skills with each passing year. I started as an HR Assistant and 3 years later moved into the HR Coordinator role, all the while continuing to further my HR education through on-the-job experience. I've taken the primary role in recruiting and onboarding with many other HR tasks mixed in. I have found my passion: to do great work supporting the people who keep the company thriving.
