About Mathew Walker

I am an experienced manager and leader who has gained a broad range of skills over 18 years working in a variety of IT software and services leadership roles. My most recent roles at Squiz were Account and Service Delivery Management; helping customers with digital transformation, service design and delivery, and strategic and operational strategy execution during the shift from Cloud to SaaS and the change from managing content to building digital experiences. I have worked with higher education, NGO and private sector clients, and with all 3 levels of government in Australia. I've managed portfolios of over 30 customers in both operational and strategic capabilities, driving growth, retention and customer satisfaction through engagement, communication, connection and providing great personal service. My experience gained at Squiz also spans support operations management, strategy design and execution, major incident and problem management, policy and process design and delivery, framework adoption and execution, sales management for house and new business customers, tender and proposal writing, change management, and mentoring and coaching. I love leading teams from the front, empowering customers and co-workers through mentoring, solving knotty problems, collaborating, and above all learning new things. I delight in learning 'how the sausage is made' for technology, process and strategy, and applying that knowledge to help colleagues and customers alike.
