I love to bring exciting ideas to life by telling engaging stories that compel and entertain audiences and I believe that people are at the heart of a good story. Through my methodical editing style, I enjoy instilling an authenticity into videos by making a relatable connection between a subject and the audience to bring a narrative to life. Whilst working with Thames Fremantle, I have created original content for the popular YouTube channels of The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent (BGT). In the case of BGT, my content has reached a global audience of circa 19 million subscribers. The popularity of both channels, and the original content I have created for them, has allowed me to gain insight into what makes an engaging story whilst adhering to brand identity. As a hardworking and ambitious professional, I use my creative eye to compose content that is strong, innovative and bold; something that will capture the audience’s attention. And I particularly enjoy the creation of informative, documentary style pieces with entertaining, emotive narratives and visual flair. With a keen eye for detail and strong focus on personal development, this attitude has provided me with a desire to always create content of the highest standard. This approach has been integral to the development of me as an editor, allowing me to craft stories in a succinct and logical way. I am someone that is not afraid to take risks or challenge myself; always willing to work outside of my comfort zone to complete projects to a high quality and to agreed deadlines.
