Mathews works as an Analyst in the Risk Advisory team in Deloitte & Touché Assurance and Enterprise Risk, focusing on Technology Risk. He focuses on General IT Controls assessments for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and System and Organization Controls (SOC1 and SOC2) audits. In addition to the technical skills, he is effective in communicating across all levels of management globally. Mathews always builds professional relationships with ease and is trusted by Senior Managers, Team leaders and team members, both onsite and offsite, to deliver and add value to high-visibility and high priority projects. He is keen to take initiative for any opportunity and can adapt to any environment quickly. Mathews holds an Honours degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering. He has obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills. He has been honored with the Spot Award and the Best Outgoing Student Award. Throughout his academic journey, he has led and coordinated various clubs and student activities.
