About Mathias Dankl
I am a computational chemist as well as a theoretical physicist with a strong interest in renewable energy research. Originally coming from Austria, I have studied Technical Chemistry as well as Technical Physics at Johannes Kepler University, in which I focused on Polymer Chemistry and on Theoretical Biophysics respectively during my theses. The combination of these majors has allowed me to full several research positions in multiple research fields (please find the CV for details). Currently, I am in the research group of Computational Chemistry and Biochemistry at École Polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, in which I focus on the computation of organic perovskite structures.
