About Mathias Gullbrandson

Mathias is an entrepreneur and company builder with extensive experience from service design, game development and film production. Since the early 90-ties Mathias have worked with co-production and participatory design in a wide range of sectors. His first training was in movie production and storytelling at the University of film and Theatre in Stockholm (Dramatiska Institutet) and his second education was a Master of Art: Cultural and Creative Leadership at Portsmouth University in UK. During the late 90-ties and early 00-ties Mathias was working with film production and Live action roleplaying games among others with The Swedish National Touring Theatre. Mathias co-founded The Story Lab AB 2003. The Story Lab was a service design and communication agency with special skills in games, design and storytelling with clients in Scandinavia and Japan. The Story Lab® was sold to Dentsu Aegis Media 2014 (world largest ad-agency). Since 2012 Mathias have shifted from consultant into entreprenour. For example Mathias is executive producer for the award-winning computer game Brothers: a Tale of Two Sons. He is also founder of The Borderland Festival, which is a participatory festival, one of the fastest growing regional Burning-Man events outside US. Mathias is one of the founders of Dreamler and has operational responsibility as product-owner. Dreamler is a digital platform to organize and run management initiatives built as a multiplayer game. During the last two year Mathias have also worked together with The company P and Reflector Entertainment with a new entertainment IP.
