About Mathias Huber

If you don’t understand people, you don’t understand business.” (Simon Sinek) Fueled by a genuine interest in human behavior, I learned quite early in my career at the software titan SAP how impactful a people function can be to help transform a business. In my 12 years at McKinsey, I learned in the first half, as a consultant, to quickly grasp organizations and business models, and to drive impact with the right tools and approaches. In the second half of my tenure, I applied those tools and approaches in McKinsey’s people function to help drive its transformation towards a more expertise-driven organization. Moving on to an industrial company, at Viessmann, I enjoyed bringing all of this to blue and white collar colleagues, building a people function as I believe it should be nowadays (productized, technology-enabled, purpose-driven), and enabling the transformation towards a digitized climate champion. With the integration into Carrier, I have the opportunity to further strengthening my integration, change, org design and Lead HR Business Partner capabilities in an even larger, more complex setting.
