About Mathias Sedner

I have started my career as a design engineer developing leading edge 2D-Graphic Controllers and Microcontrollers in VHDL and Verilog in My tasks had been extended to verification and validation using C, C++, Assembly language and later Specman E. Also the development and maintenance of a complete design environment in a small team used to belong to my tasks. Later I used to work as a design - and verification lead of international teams. Around 2006 I moved to MCU/SoC architecure development and I started to discuss requirements with customers in the area of instrument clusters and head-up displays (HuD). With these discussions I gained more and more experience within these application fields. Since 2013 I'm collecting and consolidating customer requirements in order to define Cypress' next generation MCU products in the field of instrument cluster, HuD and Lighting as a member of an international team. Our customers are all leading Automotive Tier1 world-wide. Together with requirement capturing I also give product marketing support in early project phases to our customers mainly in Europe.
