About Mathieu Bianchini

With a Master's degree in engineering, specializing in "Composite Materials and Mechanics", my career has been focused on finding innovative solutions in the fields of sports equipment, aeronautics and motorsport. Beyond my technical skills, it's my unwavering passion for sport and composites that has guided me throughout my career. That's why I'm now looking for a professional opportunity in the world of composites engineering. Today, I want to take the time to think about and build my professional career, combining technical skills and passion. A job in this kind of field would be a natural extension of my professional project, and would be the culmination of a career in materials, and more specifically in composites. Indeed, I've always been passionate about sports and motorsport, and about making and designing new things, which is why I wanted to work in sports engineering. Over the last few years, I've had the opportunity to carry out a number of different missions. That's why I took the opportunity to work for companies that combine sport (watersport) and composites. In 2022, for example, I carried out an assignment with NOTOX, a company that manufactures eco-responsible surfboards using "up-cycled" and more ecological materials such as cork and flax fiber. During this mission, I worked on a project for a 100% recyclable upcycled carbon surfboard from AIRBUS, and I also built a flax/cork laminated board. As for my most recent mission, I spent 6 months in Thailand, working on the design and draping of carbon prepreg parts for surfing and foiling. As well as making my own foil, I developed a new construction technology for surf fins (carbon prepreg) purchased by an Australian customer under the name of COBRA. This rewarding experience enabled me to deepen my knowledge of composite materials, hone my mechanical skills and, above all, understand the specific requirements of the water sports market.
