About Mathieu Champagne
I’m passionate about aviation and I have been working in the industry for almost 30 years (general aviation, manufacturing, overhaul, helicopters, heavy maintenance, line maintenance). I am currently working in New Zealand, but I am moving back to Montreal in March 2018 and I will be ready for a new challenge. Since 2015, I am acting Team Leader at Air New Zealand Regional Maintenance and I am really enjoying this role. I would like to continue my career in aviation as a supervisor as I am inclined to work in a high pression environment and to manage projects. I am enthusiastic to share my knowledge and my experience in relation with the aviation industry. Through my leader position or as a Health and Safety representative, I always promote a safety culture. I lead by example and I organise to deliver a high-quality product to our clients, while respecting the cost requirement. I have a good knowledge of continuous improvements tools and of the SMS system. I possess a NZ licence airframe and engine, a Canadian M1-M2 licence an ATR212A, Dash8 100 to 300, b737-200-800 type courses
