About Mathieu Chaurial

I joined INTECSEA 12 years ago after 2 years of experience in an EPIC Contractor were I had acquired technical experience in Offshore and Subsea Technologies after completing his Master’s in Chemical and Process Engineering. While joining INTECSEA, I matured my expertise in Oil & Gas field development with an emphasis on Flow Assurance and field architecture. During my first 5 years at INTECSEA, I succeeded in developing and managing a Flow Assurance group contributing to securing more work and projects while expanding the capabilities and expertise of the office. I also acted as Project Engineer on numerous projects, which exposed me to broader delivery responsibilities, enabling me to improve my technical expertise and to develop my project management skills. For the past 5 years, I had been working as a Deputy Delivery Manager / Project Manager at South Stream Transport B.V, a Client of INTECSEA. Amongst other duties, I was responsible for the preparation (including FEED delivery) and execution of the EPC Contracts for the delivery of the Landfall Facilities and Gas Receiving Terminal in Russia and Turkey, respectively, and their start-up. This most recent experience allowed me to mature my project engineering and management skills such as planning, budgeting, risk management, team management and project execution assurance (technical, commercial, contractual).
