Hello I am a PM (Product Manager) at Yes We Dev, a Rennes-based tech agency, expert in web development (~20 people). I work on very varied sectors of activity and with very different clients: start-ups, SMEs and listed groups. My mission? Help them launch and succeed in their web product. As a Product Manager, my main missions are: Instill a product culture in the rest of the team. Promote simplicity, understanding of problems, listening to users, etc. The goal is to help the team develop a culture that allows them to work effectively and adapt to user needs. Define and frame the product vision. Understand objectives and constraints, determine key product features, target customer base and assess market risks and opportunities. This phase allows a good understanding of the issues at stake and to define a clear direction for product development. Develop a launch strategy. Take into account opportunities and challenges in the market. The goal is to define the actions to be taken to launch the product optimally. Follow developments. Technical specification writing, monitoring of development teams, management of dependencies and technical risks, etc. The goal is to ensure that the product meets the technical and functional requirements defined during the framing phase. Collect user feedback. Ensure that the product meets user needs and make improvements if necessary. This can be done through satisfaction surveys, user interviews, user tests, etc. In addition to my role as Product Manager, I have a technical profile that allows me to intervene on projects by writing code. This allows me to: Fluidify our prod planning by giving a hand to developers. Be very close to the technical team, and therefore better understand their needs and expectations. Anticipate and manage any technical difficulties that could impact the product. This double competence in product management and web development allows me to have an impact on the product in the short, medium and long term.
