Mathieu Kerneis is Professor of Medicine at Sorbonne University and head of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU/USIC) at the Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital, APHP. Pr Kerneis is a senior Investigator of the ACTION Group His research focuses on acute myocarditis and the interplay between inflammation and cardiovascular diseases. Pr Kerneis is the PI of the ARAMIS Trial (RCT in acute myocarditis patients, evaluating IL1 inhibition), and co-PI of the ARGO trial (RCT evaluating colchicine in acute myocarditis patients). He is leading the AMPHIBIA registry, an ongoing large prospective cohort of patients with myocarditis including extensive bio-banking and genotyping.
