About Mathieu Mazarin

Recently promoted to Deputy Program Manager over SETA at NRCS/FPAC/USDA, with J3. We apply a systems approach to find the why, and provide actionable solutions. We strive to help the government and vendors produce defect free software and highly motivated and high functioning SAFe teams. My core philosophy is to be focused, have clear intent, and follow through. As a Senior SETA Analyst for J3 Consulting at NRCS/FPAC/USDA, I apply my analytics expertise, web development knowledge, JIRA reporting, section 508 and Software defect remediation skills to solve complex technical issues and create elegant solutions. I have over 8 years of experience in web design and development, web content management, and web applications, as well as certifications in JavaScript, PhoneGap, and SAFe. And a Master's degree in Applied Science (MASc) from the University of Denver. Previously, I worked as a Scrum Master and a Product Owner Liaison (POL) in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment for Alethix LLC, where I oversaw the Common Tools team,(Shared Services) and the production defects across the Money Train for NRCS/USDA. Before that, I provided last-tier support for the CDC's Center of Surveillance Epidemiology and Laboratory Services (CSELS). Prior to CSELS, while at DVBD (Division of Vector Born Diseases), I developed a full-stack prototype of a unique rapid disease diagnosis system using Android, AWS, and Google Cloud. I am passionate about innovation, collaboration, and quality in my work.
