About Mathieu Raimondi

I completed my engineer education in 2005 with a 5 month internship in the PLAN group (University of Calgary). During my internship, I published my first paper as first author in a journal. I then started a PhD in radio-navigation signal processing. I developed a model for the prediction of the impact of pulsed interference on GPS L5 and Galileo E5 signals. During my PhD, I published 4 communications in international conferences. I defended my PhD in 2008. In 2009, after a short experience at CNES (French space agency), I joined Thales Services where I was in charge of the development of a GNSS constellation simulator for Thales Alenia Space. I then participated to the validation of some software components of the SPEED platform. I ended my activities in Thales Services by the development, within the ADN software, of a kalman filter based PVT algorithm. In 2011 I joined Thales Alenia Space, as GNSS engineer. I started with studies for the French space agency, one dealing with the design of a GNSS signals observatory, and another with the simulation of the defects of Galileo signals generation at payload level. In 2014, I got involved in the EGNOS program, and I was more particularly following the development of the EGNOS uplink station, named NLES G2. In the meantime, I was in charge of the specification of the NLES G3, in the frame of the EGNOS V3 phase B program. Today, my activities are still linked to EGNOS and the NLES, but I am also working on integrity related topics, and on the development of a tool aiming at simulating interference for GNSSs.
