I enhance the industry’s ability to assess and manage environmental risks from chemical exposures, with a particular focus on wastewater emissions. I develop innovative solutions for water quality assessment and management, and collaborate with scientific institutions and stakeholders to foster knowledge exchange and drive collaboration. In my current role, I establish standards for environmental performance and reporting, including CSRD compliance, and provide expert advice to Shell’s operating assets, projects, and product lines. Through leadership roles in industry associations, I contribute to the development of standards and best practices, promoting cross-industry collaboration to advance environmental performance and regulatory compliance. I help industry navigate the evolving landscape of pollution control policies, which demand strategic adaptation to stricter environmental standards while balancing competitiveness, innovation, and regulatory compliance.
