About Mathijs van Alphen

Multilingual, communicative, hardworking, and innovative young professional with international experience. That is the perfect way to describe me. From a young age, I've always loved languages. When I was 17, I completed my high school and went straight to Avans University of Applied Sciences, where I pursued the International Business and Languages program. Throughout these 4 years, I began to gradually realize my affinity for sales, marketing and communication. During the third year of my studies, I lived in Cape Town for a 6-month internship. Here, I was able to further develop my skills and experience the international business culture. In the fourth year of my studies, I lived in Chile for 6 months for a minor, where I learned more about different cultures as well as specialized courses focused on internal and external communication. I also became fluent in Spanish during my time there and took additional courses in leadership in international companies. After completing my bachelor's degree, I decided to further specialize in the field of communication. I pursued a master's degree in Business Communication and Cognition at Tilburg University. As the icing on the cake, my thesis is going to be published!
