As a Medical Inventory Controller at Mercy Ships, I lead a dedicated team responsible for managing the inventory of medical supplies and equipment onboard our hospital ship. Our mission is to ensure that our medical teams have the essential resources to deliver life-saving care in some of the most underserved regions of the world. I oversee stock tracking, coordinate logistics, and ensure the timely availability and optimal condition of supplies to support our operations. In addition to my role at Mercy Ships, I am currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, which enhances my ability to problem-solve and implement efficient systems within our inventory management processes. The combination of my leadership experience in medical supply chain management and my industrial engineering studies allows me to approach challenges from both an operational and technical perspective, driving innovation and improving workflow efficiencies. I am passionate about fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture while continuously exploring new ways to improve healthcare delivery in resource-constrained environments. My goal is to use my expertise to enhance operational effectiveness and contribute to the positive impact we make on the lives of those in need.
