About Mathilda Ong

I am currently in my first year of Bachelors' Degree in Banking and Finance in Murdoch University. I aim to expand my knowledge in the banking and finance industry and constantly push myself to higher boundaries. I was presented with multiple opportunities to work with others, broadening my communication skills. In secondary school, I was appointed the Chairperson position in my class, which gave me a platform to showcase my leadership skills. I was also part of the Executive Committee in my Co-Curricular Activity, which further strengthened my social and communication skills.I have been learning dance for the past 18 years and have participated in various competitions. The training I went through shaped me to be disciplined, hardworking and determined in whatever i do. I am self driven and aim for perfection in whatever I am doing. With all the experiences I have gone through, I am confident in my resilience and tenacity to work under pressure, in any given circumstance. Together with my outgoing personality, I believe I am able to make bold decisions and be vocal about my opinions. This allows for better delegation of tasks and understanding of problems, be it in my work or daily life. I believe that my dedication to my craft and work, make me a key player in any team, ready to take on any task assigned.
