About Matias Ruponen

A strong professional with over 15 years of experience in insurance sector in product, sales, partner- and business development. In my current and earlier positions by developing cooperation with local companies of our group and leading our strategic partnerships, I have achieved a strong and wide insight of insurance, retail and banking sector. The positions have been a great vantage point in order to understand and advance the business and strategic targets in practice. A strong performer in front of audience and a capability to have impact on people as well as bring up new ideas and solutions in challenging and changing environment. Working abroad for a year in multinational environment (NATO peace keeping forces) and later several years among alliance of independent European mutual insurance companies (Eurapco) has given me international project management expertise and fluent communication skills in English. I want to use my learnings and experience to create new business possibilities in order to make a positive and lasting difference as well as deliver truly high quality outcomes.
