About Matilda Arvids

Most recently, I worked as Program Manager at Pratham Sweden, the Swedish chapter of India’s largest education NGO. There, I managed a corporate-funded education initiative reaching tens of thousands of children, involving 13 of Sweden’s largest companies. My work included contract compliance, impact reporting, fundraising, communications, and stakeholder engagement. I also organized a high-level delegation to India for 50 participants from civil society, business, and the public sector — led by Sweden’s Consul General in Mumbai. Previously, I gained diplomatic and analytical experience as an intern at the Political Section of the Swedish Embassy in New Delhi, where I contributed to political reporting, background material, and arranged high-level visits. This built on a strong academic foundation: a Master’s in Political Science from Uppsala University, complemented by studies at Sciences Po Paris and National University of Ireland Galway, focusing on political science, diplomacy, and human rights. On a personal note: my interest in international cooperation started early, when I joined exchange projects in Kenya, Hungary, and Ukraine as a teenager. That curiosity about how people, policies, and cultures connect has shaped my professional path.
