About Matilde Arese

I am a polymer scientist with a strong background that bridges academic research and industrial application. Through my PhD collaboration with Stellantis and the University of Turin, I developed expertise in recycled and functionalized polyolefins for automotive applications, focusing on structure–property relationships, thermal and mechanical performance, and ageing behavior. My five-year experience within the Stellantis Group allowed me to translate laboratory results into industrial practice, gaining direct exposure to material validation workflows, processing technologies, and project management in a corporate environment. I combine scientific rigor with an application-oriented mindset, and I am motivated by the challenge of developing innovative and sustainable polymer solutions for the automotive sector.
