Matt Bartch, CFA, CAIA, Director, is a member of BlackRock’s Retirement National Accounts team within US Wealth Advisory. He is responsible for managing national retirement RIA home office relationships. Previously, Matt spent nine years as a Defined Contribution Consultant serving Southeast-based plan sponsors and advisors. He also continues to lead BlackRock’s DC efforts around personalization and managed accounts. Mr. Bartch joined BlackRock in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, he spent 5 years within PIMCO's Defined Contribution Practice. In his time there, he served national consultants and plan sponsors, then focused on regional Southeast-based clients in 2013. Earlier in his career, Matt held research analyst positions at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Bartch earned a BS in International Business, Investment Analysis and Corporate Finance from the University of South Carolina and also holds the CFA and CAIA designations.
