Hi! I’m Matt Beagle, audio producer, reporter, editor and project manager. I love all aspects of creating compelling audio. Whether interviewing, writing scripts, editing tape, directing talent or managing creative partners, I’m dedicated to creating stories that inform and entertain. I’ve reported and produced local news stories, narrative features, documentaries, comedy specials and scripted podcasts at great outlets including: Spotify, Audible and KQED. No matter the genre, I’m curious about people’s stories and passionate about bringing them to life for listeners. As a former (and sometimes current) stand-up comedian, I bring humor and a flare for storytelling to my work, combined with a dogged reporting ethic, honed at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. I’m an open-minded and collaborative producer, always ready for the next story.
