About Matt Beck

I have worked at the Heart of Worcestershire College for 10 years. I have worked in a range of different departments at the college but have mainly taught and supported 16-25 year olds who have not been in Education (NEET) or have a range of learning difficulties and special educational needs (SEN). In my later teaching career, I discovered the effective use of technology within teaching and learning… I was hooked…. The rest is history! My current role is The Director of Blended and Online Learning for HoW college and the Blended Learning Consortium. I lead a team of content developers and digital learning advisors to create engaging and learner focused blended learning courses and e-learning packages that are supplied to over 160 member FE colleges across the UK. I also support all staff at the college with digital skills development, CPD, individual training and TTLA. This includes support with applications within Microsoft, Google and Apple products.
