About Matt Behrens

Currently Employed as Sr. Engineering Team Lead with Videon Labs, I oversee the software engineering team's agile workflow and processes, resource planning, sprint organization, and serve as the primary interface for customers with our engineering team. Originally, I came to videon as a Software engineering Intern in the summer and fall of 2019, before joining the company full-time in 2020. I fulfilled my role as a software engineer 1, before being promoted to SW Eng 3 in 2021. I was recently promoted to Sr. Team Lead in mid-2022. I'm proficient in C++, Java, Python, AngularJS (and related web-interfaces), and have been working with linux/android embedded systems for the last three years. I've also been employed as a network administrator, helping to build, manage, and maintain the IT infrastructure of small businesses and my University, while in college. I have an avid interest in Virtual Reality and it's applications in both recreation and industry, especially in the area of media consumption. Graduated Lock Haven University with a Bachelors of Science (Focus in Applied Computer Science and Programming) Summa Cum Laude, and Honors with Distinction. Studied Abroad at the University of New England, Australia, in 2018.
