About Matt Bertasso

With over 15 years of experience in public education, I am a teaching and learning expert passionate about creating and delivering engaging instructional content that ultimately leads to enhanced skills development and greater overall performance. I have a master's degree in educational administration and supervision and am pursuing another master's degree in instructional design and technology. I also hold several professional certifications, including teaching certificates for K-12 music and administration, level 2 Google certified educator, and Apple teacher. As a former school principal, I have successfully led, equipped, and empowered over 90 subject matter experts and improved instruction across all professional technical and fine arts courses. I have also navigated school operations through the pandemic, providing staff training remotely for online instruction and overhauling the schedule, protocols, and procedures to meet Covid guidelines. Additionally, I have raised test scores and national rankings, developed ongoing professional development initiatives, and evaluated and designed professional plans for over 60 employees. I am committed to empowering future leaders through robust training, coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. I am always looking for new ways to innovate and design effective learning solutions.
