From designing and implementing mechanical special effects for TV commercials to producing industrial prototypes to large-scale public art installations, I have spent decades refining my knowledge of fabrication, materials and processes with the goal of stripping away the unnecessary and revealing the simplicity needed to complete complex projects with economy, real-world practicality and speed. Specializing in elegant solutions to seemingly intractable artistic and practical problems, I have worked with city, state, and federal agencies, multinational corporations, museums, churches, schools, NGOs and non-profits to realize their visions on time and on budget. Having lived and worked in four countries and three continents, my experience is grounded in the truth of what can actually be done, here, now, in the most efficient, effective manner.
