All facets of museum administration interest me greatly, however my passions lie with conservation and collections management. As Assistant Collections Manager of the Nepean Museum, I digitized a portion of their collection using digital photography and Photoshop, carried out condition reports and entered the information into their digital database. As an Intern at the Canadian Museum of Civilization I streamlined a process for managing incoming and outgoing loans to ensure that all the artifacts were present and safe. If an artifact was unaccounted for, I filled out the proper documentation in order to update the database. I also have three years of archaeological field experience, during which I worked closely with First Nations and culturally sensitive materials.
